About Dr. Chin
Dr. Rickie Chin is a Rhode Island native, born and raised in Hope. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Biology from Rhode Island College before completing his Doctor of Optometry degree at the Illinois College of Optometry in Chicago.
His clinical training spanned a range of settings, including the Providence VA Hospital, Eye Care Associates in Southport, Connecticut, Vision Care at the Brown Center in East Providence, the Illinois Eye Institute, and the Wellish Vision Institute. This diverse experience across academic, VA, and private-practice environments informed his approach to comprehensive patient care.
His clinical interests include comprehensive eye care and patient education. Outside of the office, Dr. Chin enjoys fishing, magic, snowboarding, video games, and board games.
