About Dr. Marques
Dr. Matthew Marques was born in Providence, Rhode Island and grew up in Seekonk, Massachusetts. He pursued a pre-medical and health sciences undergraduate education before earning his Doctor of Optometry degree from MCPHS University.
His clinical training included rotations at the Providence VA Medical Center, Naval Health Clinic New England in Groton, and the Providence Community Health Center — experiences that gave him a broad foundation in primary-care optometry and the management of ocular disease across diverse patient populations.
His clinical interests include primary-care optometry and ocular disease. Outside of the office, Dr. Marques enjoys football, soccer, travel, reading, and spending time with his family.
